Friday’s assignment was to “seek out the message you need to hear most today.” When Joshua wanted to read the “fishie” book by Dr. Seuss, the quote on the first page caught my attention.
Why is this the message I needed to hear most? Because I have been too worried, stressed, sad and serious lately. I need to lighten up and remember to laugh, and to embrace my inner silliness.
Saturday’s theme was “juxtaposition,” and I cheated, because I used a picture I had taken a few weeks ago. But I thought it was perfect for the assignment. And I was really busy that day.
Today’s theme was “bounty.” I chose to capture all of those beautiful apples we picked last week, pre-pie and crisp. I have a long “To Bake” list. I have some work to do this week.
