We celebrated Lily’s 8th birthday today, more for Josh’s enjoyment than hers. We gave her a stuffed bird cat toy (filled with catnip – her fave), sang “Happy Birthday,” and let her enjoy some leftovers (chicken, which she practically inhaled).
This probably makes us a bit strange, but she’s a good cat, and we’re glad to have her in our lives. Josh does think there’s one thing missing, however — he wants to get her a tuna-flavored cake. We’ll see about that. 🙂
