Sunday was a chilly, lazy day with not much to do besides watch the Bruins and Patriots games. Since my child had zero interest in the games (well, maybe a slight interest in the hockey game) and was all, “Play with me!” all day, I did my best to keep him entertained. Baking, board games, and Legos. All fun, but when Joshua ate dinner and I finally sat down to watch some of the football game, I fell asleep. Oh, to have half the energy of that kid!
He beat me at Chutes & Ladders, Uno Moo, Don’t Break the Ice, and Candy Land.
I won Checkers. (And probably only because he’s five.)
